LINUX Professional Institute — LPIC1

The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) has developed its LPI-1 certification as an introductory certification for people who want to enter careers involving Linux. The exam is meant to certify that an individual has the skills necessary to install, operate, and troubleshoot a Linux system and is familiar with Linux-specific concepts and basic hardware. The purpose of this course is to help you pass the LPIC-1 exam 101 and updated in 2012. Because the exam covers basic Linux installation, configuration, maintenance and applications those are the topics that are emphasized in this course.

  • Purpose

    This course focuses on Linux system administration and prepares students to take the LPI 101. This course is designed for a person who has been performing basic system administration tasks and who needs to install, configure, and manage a Linux-based system.
