Cypriot organisations are increasingly required to operate in highly dynamic and competitive environments, where productivity, efficiency and responsiveness are critical success factors. However, many enterprises continue to rely on fragmented, manual or poorly optimised processes, resulting in inefficiencies, delays, increased operational costs and limited decision-making capability.
At the same time, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are rapidly transforming the way organisations design, execute and optimise business processes. Despite the availability of AI tools (e.g. AI assistants, process automation tools, predictive analytics), their use within organisations remains largely ad hoc, experimental or disconnected from core operational processes.

A significant gap is identified at managerial and executive level in:
• systematically identifying high-impact processes suitable for optimisation
• understanding how AI can be embedded into real workflows (not just used as a tool)
• evaluating practical AI use cases (e.g. automation of reporting, customer interaction, forecasting, decision support)
• redesigning processes with measurable productivity gains
• ensuring governance, human oversight and alignment with organisational strategy
