Key highlights from the latest newsletter:
- FRAME-DWELL, the Digital Wellbeing Framework, has been finalized following consultations with teachers, school leaders, education professionals, and parents across Europe.
- Stakeholders emphasized that digital wellbeing goes beyond screen time and includes digital overload, online safety, AI, misinformation, emotional wellbeing, and healthy digital habits.
- The new framework provides educators with practical guidance across five key areas and two professional development levels: Foundation Practitioner and Digital Wellbeing Champion.
- Development is underway for ASSESS-DWELL, a self-assessment tool that will help educators reflect on and strengthen their digital wellbeing practices.
Looking ahead
- CERTIFY-DWELL: certification courses for educators on digital wellbeing.
- AWARE-DWELL: a parent-focused course addressing topics such as cyberbullying, unhealthy digital habits, and sleep disruption.
