The first Digital Skills Wallet newsletter introduces the project: an eco-system supported by a digital platform for acquiring and assessing digital competence through micro-credentials across the five DigComp competence areas. It explains how the DSW platform lets citizens assess their skills, earn micro-credentials and store them in a digital wallet, and how educators can contribute learning content and assessment questions. It also presents the main deliverables: the platform, a guide for educators, the eco-system framework and the large-scale pilot test with 1,000 participants.
